We really enjoyed our visit to this museum. We were very lucky to have a presentation by Sir Philip Preston, the owner of the museum. He is very knowledgeable about the battle of Crécy, and he brought the battle to life for us.
This museum is well worth a detour if you are anywhere in the vicinity.

We (four stout hearted members of the American Civil War Round Table of the UK) visiting Crecy on bit of a jolly in August. Not only did Sir Phillip Preston give us an enthralling impromptu lecture, but just as we thought he was finishing he said “Follow me” and we drove onto the battlefield with him. Brilliant!
